Sarah has a wide range of experience in civil, corporate, and investigative matters. As a civil trial lawyer, she has worked on antitrust, securities fraud, libel, privacy, and hostile takeover matters. On the corporate side, she has prepared filings for public and private securities offerings, quarterly and annual securities filings, and large mergers and acquisitions. She has also worked on numerous internal corporate and whistleblower investigations on behalf of independent and special committees of boards of directors, and she has defended corporate and individual clients in government investigations for securities fraud, price fixing, and public corruption.

Sarah has also worked on important pro bono matters, including (1) a three-week evidentiary hearing on a motion to dismiss a school desegregation order in Wilmington, Delaware; (2) the exoneration of an innocent person convicted of murdering a police officer; and (3) the corporate combination of the two largest legal aid societies in Texas into Lone Star Legal Aid. She has received several awards for her participation in these noteworthy pro bono cases.
