During law school, Harris was Articles and Comments Editor for the University of Miami Law Review and a Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court competitor. He was also recognized as the top student in Antitrust, Evidence, Property, Judicial Writing, and Legal Communication and Research. Harris served as intern to the Honorable Jose Martinez on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
