Christina Murphy
Christina brings a rare and valuable dual lens to complex commercial and white-collar litigation—one shaped not only by legal acumen but also by years of high-level business leadership. Before law school, Christina spent more than a decade as a business executive across various sectors, including construction, real estate, and marketing. She has advised CEOs, chaired strategic initiatives, led new market expansions in major metropolitan areas, and overseen enterprise-wide client development strategies. And after law school, Christina returned to the business world as in-house counsel. Embedded in the boardrooms where business decisions are made and risks are assessed, Christina gained an insider’s understanding of the operational, financial, and strategic challenges businesses face. Her unique blend of business and legal expertise is a powerful asset for MBS clients facing commercial disputes or investigations. Christina is able to align legal strategy with business objectives and deliver advice grounded in real-world operational realities.
During law school, Christina deepened her understanding of business and law as an extern for Walmart's U.S. Ethics & Compliance division and Responsible Sourcing Investigations division, as well as by serving as President of the Business Law Society. At heart a person who loves to serve the community and connect with people, Christina also served on Northwest Arkansas's CASA Board of Directors and was honored with awards for Outstanding Contribution to the Law School Community, Outstanding Law School Volunteer of the Year, the Chancellor’s Community Service Award, and Legal Aid of Arkansas Pro Bono Student of the Year.
