Overview
MBS scored a victory on behalf of an out-of-state electronics distributor sued in Harris County for allegedly providing a defective component in an air conditioning system that failed and resulted in an elderly resident’s death. MBS gathered evidence that our client neither produced nor distributed the part at issue and moved to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction.
Results
On the day of the hearing, the plaintiff agreed to dismiss the case against our client.
